A meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 7 December 2015 at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Parish Rooms, Bloxham, to transact the business set out in the Agenda below, and you are summoned to attend.

 

Councillors Christine Heath and Lynda Thirzie-Smart have been invited to attend as District Councillors and Councillor Kieron Mallon has been invited as County Councillor.

12. Village Matters

 

i)             Play Provision – To receive an update on the progress of the project to improve the play equipment in the village.

 

There will be an exhibition on Saturday 12 December 2015 from 1030am to 1130am at the Ex-Serviceman’s Hall for residents to attend and look at the plans.

 

ii)       Old Bridge Road, Bloxham – To receive a report on the meeting with Oxfordshire County Council.

 

iv)          First Aid Courses – To discuss proving another first aid course for residents of the village.

 

v)            Red Lion/Local Heritage Assets (LHA) – To receive a report on the Red Lion and discuss the Red Lion Gardens as a LHA.

 

vi)          Annual Parish Meeting 2016 – To note that the meeting is being held on Thursday 14 April 2016 and to agree to the format of the meeting.

 

vii)         Street Naming – To discuss further suggestions for the naming of streets on the new developments in the village.

 

viii)        Bloxham School – To receive a report on the meeting with Bloxham School held on

Monday 30 November 2015.  (To follow)

 

v)       Circular Walk/Public Rights of Way – To receive an update on the Circular Walk and

discuss the dog fouling issue on the Walk and on other public rights of way around the village.

 

ix)          Notice Board – To discuss the purchase of a new noticeboard for outside of the Ex-Serviceman’s Hall.

 

x)            Butterfly Meadow Children’s Centre – To receive a report on the meeting attended by Councillors Mary Grove and Sue Slater.

 

xi)          Land at Queen Street -To discuss the land in Queen Street.

 

xii)         Village Groups – To receive any reports from the village groups.

Public and Press – To consider passing a resolution in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for item numbered 16 on the grounds that it could involve the likely disclosure of private and confidential information.  21:30

 

15. Clerk and Assistant Administration Officer – To review the salaries for the Clerk and the Assistant Administration Officer and confirm the Administration Officer’s hours for 2016/2017.
