Mary has lived in Bloxham for 30 years during which time she and her husband, John raised three boys who attended local schools and clubs.
She has huge appreciation for the many people whose leadership of, or assistance with, clubs and events make Bloxham the lively community that it is.
Mary was Head of Modern Languages at Chenderit School in the 1980s, but studied law in the early 1990s, leading to a change of career direction.
She has retired as the co-director of a small company that provides evidence to Courts on issues relating to education, training, employability and earnings potential following personal injury or unfair dismissal.
Her daily encounter with the devastation caused by road traffic accidents makes her acutely aware that further development of the village should take full account of road traffic safety issues.
Mary is currently studying on a part-time basis at the University of Westminster working towards a Diploma in Translation from German to English.
