Photograph of Bloxham village

Councillors >Nick Rayner

I’m Nick, and we have been living in Bloxham for over 35 years. I’m married and have 3 grown up children, who no longer live at home, and 2 granddaughters. We moved to Bloxham when I started work for Unipart Group in Oxford in 1989. I worked for Unipart in a wide variety of senior operational management roles travelling extensively, until I retired in 2017. I have previously served on the Parish Council for over 13 years, working on several of the subgroups and latterly as Vice Chair under Steve Craggs stewardship. We have recently stopped doing so much long-term travelling, and I’ve also closed my consulting business. As a result, I’m keen to keep my mind active, so a return to the PC would be a great way to achieve this, as well as being able to contribute to our village. In my spare time I run, swim, ride, (I used to do Triathlons) play tennis, fish, and continue to travel with my wife.
